I am a registered LMFT #147469 and LPCC #18286 from Board of Behavior Sciences California. I am a multilingual and multicultural therapist (English, Hindi, Nepali & Urdu) with over 14 years of experience in the field of mental health. I feel grateful for the experience I have working with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families in India and in the U.S. I have experience of working with clients facing varied issues like trauma, anxiety, depression, loss of focus, pressure of excelling in academics, relationship issues, family conflicts, and people going through grief and loss. I am a certified grief recovery specialist and have a particular interest in working with clients facing grief and bereavement. I am a certified EMDR therapist. I am affiliated with One Life Counseling Center, I did my internship with Youth and family services at Fremont, where I got the opportunity to serve families and children in underrepresented communities.

I lean towards a humanistic approach and meet my clients with empathic, accepting, and compassionate manner, I try to help individuals free themselves from disabling assumptions and attitudes so they can be at their highest potential and live fuller and happier lives. I also work with individuals, using Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques to identify their core beliefs and behavior patterns. Coming from a collective cultural background, I am a strong believer of Internal Family Systems and use the therapeutic techniques when working with families. I also incorporate mindfulness and culturally competent techniques to improve the client’s overall wellbeing. Counseling is my passion, and it gives me immense pleasure to guide people towards a happier and brighter future.

I am married and have two boys. When not working I love to spend time with family and friends, watching movies, and traveling. I enjoy being in the nature.
