Grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. It is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern of behavior. Conflicting feelings are opposing emotional responses resulting from the same loss, like pain and relief. For example, when someone dies after suffering a long illness, those left behind may feel emotional pain knowing they can no longer see or touch the person. At the same time, they may feel a sense of relief knowing that the person’s suffering is over.
Grief is individual and unique. As every relationship is different, so are the thoughts and feelings each person has about the relationship that has been altered by any of the following:
Did a death, divorce, or the end of a romantic relationship cause the pain and suffering, or was it caused by any of the more than forty other losses as shown above? Regardless of the cause, you know how you feel, and it probably isn't good. You might feel judged and misunderstood by people around you. If You want to be in control of your emotions and are ready to make changes, and look forward to living life fully, I can help.
It’s time to find joy in life again if you'll permit yourself to do so. I will help you find a clear path to resolve the emotional pain from your past that's holding you back.
